(2) The draft Air Quality Framework Implementation Plan was endorsed for presentation to the WMCA Board meeting on 17 November 2023 subject to updates as a result of comments made by the Environment & Energy Board. |

Energy Capital Programme Update • Devolved retrofit funding • Strategic partnerships for energy infrastructure • The new Regional Energy Systems Planner function and how it relates to local area energy planning Presented By: Cheryl Hiles Decision: (1) The progress across the WMCA energy programme was noted.
(2) The principles of retrofit devolution that would be used to guide negotiations with Government were endorsed.
(3) The plan to expand the WMCA Strategic Partnerships to include partnerships with energy infrastructure providers was endorsed.
(4) Topics for future updates at the Environment & Energy Board meetings were noted. |
